Blank Page These terms apply when you use this website, take the placement check, apply to, or join a Blank Page ML cohort. Blank Page ML (TBR) ("we", "us") runs this website and the cohort. By taking the placement check or applying, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can take part
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian who has read and agreed to these terms and the Privacy Policy on your behalf. If you're under 18, "you" in these terms also covers your parent or guardian.
2. The placement check
- One attempt per email address. Using several addresses to take the check more than once isn't allowed.
- You have 30 minutes from the moment you verify your email. An unfinished attempt can be resumed at most 3 times, and the timer keeps running in between. When time runs out, your saved answers are submitted automatically.
- The check must be your own work: no help from other people, AI tools, notes, or searching during the check.
- The questions are confidential. Don't copy, photograph, record, share, or publish them.
- If you're 18 or older, the camera must stay on during the check, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may cancel a result if integrity data or other evidence suggests these rules were broken. We may first ask you to explain, or to retake an equivalent check under supervision.
- A passing score shows readiness. It doesn't guarantee a seat, and admission to the cohort is at our discretion.
3. Fees and payment
- The fee for Cohort 1 is a founding-cohort price of ₹2,000 plus 18% GST (₹2,360 in total). It's paid upfront after you're accepted, and your seat is confirmed once payment is received.
- Need-based waivers. The fee can be fully waived based on financial background. Waivers are decided at our discretion, and we may ask for a short explanation. Asking for one doesn't affect how we assess your application.
- Assignment-completion refund. The cohort has 10 assignments. For each one you complete on time and as your own work, ₹200 of the fee is refunded, up to the full ₹2,000 if you complete all 10. These refunds are paid within 14 days after the cohort ends. GST already paid isn't refundable.
4. Cancellations and refunds
- If you cancel before 1 November 2026 (the start date), you get a full refund.
- After the cohort has started, fees aren't refunded, except for the assignment-completion refund above.
- If we cancel the cohort, or postpone it and the new dates don't work for you, you get a full refund.
- To cancel, email hello@blankpageml.tech. We pay refunds within 14 days, to the original payment method where possible.
5. Conduct
- Be respectful in classes, office hours, and on Discord. Harassment, discrimination, or abuse isn't tolerated.
- Assignments must be your own work. AI tools may help you understand concepts, but they must not write your assignment code.
- For serious or repeated breaches, we may remove you from the cohort after a warning. If you're removed for misconduct, fees aren't refunded.
6. Course materials and your work
Lecture notes, assignments, recordings, and the placement questions are for your personal learning. Please don't redistribute or sell them. Your own work remains yours.
7. Changes to the cohort
We may adjust the schedule, topics, or format to improve the course or for reasons outside our control. We'll tell you about significant changes as early as we can.
8. No guarantees
The cohort is an educational programme. We'll do our best to teach well, but we can't guarantee outcomes such as admission to a research lab, a job, or a graduate programme.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything relating to the cohort is limited to the fees you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer protection rights you have where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date above shows the latest version. Changes won't apply retroactively to a fee you've already paid.
